Featuring easy to assemble kits or ready completed models in self-coloured plastic, Atkitz aims to provide unique O-gauge structure models at prices which are affordable, and provide a blank canvas for personalisation.

Unlike other kits made using flat packed sheets of wood or plastic, the majority of our models are 3D printed in vertical sections with the walls already joined as a single piece.

This means no unsightly join lines at corners, continuous brick/block patterns that align correctly around the whole model, and much easier to assemble kits.

Our latest generation 3D printers run at very high resolution (0.08mm between layers), minimising layer lines often associated with printed models.

We aspire to create highly detailed, unique models that are simple to customise to suit any layout.

All our models are printed in high quality PLA, a bioplastic made from renewable plant based sources.

Coming Soon…

A limited run model of M&GN railway bridge 254 at Drayton, Norfolk on the former Norwich to Melton Constable line.

Based on original drawings kindly provided by the Norfolk County Council and photographs, we have produced a replica of this iconic structure.

The bridge was closed in the early 1970’s and the track was lifted around 1973. You can still walk or cycle over the bridge as part of the 26-mile Marriott’s Way path.

The model itself is braced with internal 2.5mm stainless steel supports, and our load tests suggest it is more than capable of supporting Helljan Diesels! The span of the bridge is 50cm between abutments.

The abutments will be available as part of our modular bridge kits hopefully coming in the new year.
